AllThingsD are reporting that the next generation of the iPad is to be expected this March. The announcement of what is being tentatively dubbed the iPad 3 (chances are that will probably be the official name too). We can also apparently expect a faster processor, Apple's Retina Display technology, consistent dimensions with previous models, but perhaps 4G LTE support. The latter would mean the iPad 3 would be the first Apple product to support 4th generation networks and would almost certainly mean that the next generation of the iPhone would also feature LTE support. As for a release date the chatter is currently placing that in the second or third week of March.
